Kyoto Says Goodbye to Erik
The Party, with Khalil and Tash karaoking to Erik's delight
-- KYOTO, Japan
Erik said goodbye to Kyoto on Saturday evening with an amazing ‘Love Blowout’, which involved large numbers of crazy hooligans from around the world. With representatives from Japan, the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Mars, Ireland, and the obscure nation of Kojiland present at the festivities, the farewell celebration had a markedly multicultural and international feel to it. But, as the partygoers quickly learned – it doesn’t matter what country you’re from – “Erik is HOT.”
Several revelers remarked that Erik “looks better when he’s drunk – and when I’m drunk.” Perhaps this is why Erik insisted on drinking more than 3,000 cocktails at Kyoto’s famous ‘Den En’ establishment, which features a Japanese tradition called ‘nomi-hodai’ which in American means “get WASTED.”
Unbelievably, Erik managed to stay relatively alert throughout the evening, as the party moved from Den En to a nearby karaoke box. While there, Erik managed to slur his way through at least 1 song before reportedly being told to ‘shut up and sit down.’
At a press conference held in nearby Ritto the following morning, Erik was quoted as saying, “Can we turn those lights down a bit? Thanks. Uh – yeah, Kyoto was fun last night. I can’t believe that in one month I won’t be able to just hop over to this amazing city whenever I want. Instead, I’ll get a chance to go to Los Angeles whenever I want. Oh, joy.”
Stay with ENN as we watch for more reaction in both Japan and California to Erik’s imminent move. |
