Peace Vigils in Japan Draw Thousands

Eriko, one of thousands of people to turn out at an peace vigil in Japan.

Along with thousands of people, Erik and Eriko turned out for a peace vigil in Japan last week.  While there, they participated in several peace rally activities, including singing and speaking.  Erik even delivered a speech to the assembled peacemongers, during which he urged the protesters to "continue even when the war goes on and when it stops, because that's when we really need to hold our governments accountable to their promises to help the people of Iraq."

After this statement, Erik allegedly attempted to engage in "groupie coupling," but he was unable to find anyone willing to be his groupie.

Despite Erik's speech and his actions calling for peace, President Bush and Japanese Prime Minister Koizumi, who have been accused of "working together" in this war effort, continued to attack the Iraqi people.  Erik was outraged, "Who does he think he is, ignoring me?  What, does he think he actually won the election or something?"

Stay with ENN as we follow Erik's attempts to get Bush to listen.
