Erik
Travels "All Over" Egypt, Damages Culture

An exclusive ENN investigation has revealed that Erik traveled
"all over" the vast Egyptian countryside, causing
"extensive" damage to the well-being of average Egyptians.
"If the taxi drivers want to ask me every 30 seconds if I want a
ride," a defiant Erik said at a hastily convened Cairo press
conference, "is that my fault? Where I'm from, if you want a
ride, then you ask the cabbie, not the other way
around." The constant stopping of traffic around Erik caused
some annoyance to Cairenes, but most were quite happy to have Erik in
their city. Several police officers shouted "Welcome to
Egypt!" as Erik made his way through the city, according to
eyewitnesses.
Apart from Cairo
and its Pyramids
(click for photos), ENN has obtained documents showing that Erik traveled
to Alexandria and Sharm el-Sheikh, both of which feature beautiful
beaches. Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak told ENN that several
cases of blindness were reported in both of those cities after Erik's
visit, allegedly because of Erik's extreme
whiteness. Despite his whiteness, ENN reporters were on the
scene as Erik went snorkeling off Sharm el-Sheikh, visited the renowned
Library at Alexandria, and saw such unique cultural artifacts as Pompeii's
Pillar.
When asked about his travels throughout Egypt, Erik would only say that
he had a "great" time. Certainly, according to our
correspondent, with the wonderful staff at the American University in
Cairo and the amazing students that were his classmates, Erik would have
had to work hard to avoid having a good time.
After two and a half quick months, Erik plans to return to California
where he will resume his studies at UCSB. Stay
with ENN as we bring you the latest Erik news, as it happens.
