Fluke Card Causes Erik To Lose Poker

At a recent Poker Night at Love Headquarters, Erik's nemesis, Anna, managed to get the one card she needed at the last possible moment (on the river) to defeat Erik and win the $34,000 jackpot.

"Yes!" Anna screamed, collecting her winnings.  Anna's win was a huge upset according to ENN Sports analysts, because Erik is simply "a much better player than anyone else at the table."

Erik held a strong pair of jacks and went "all-in," betting all his chips.  Anna, the only other player remaining, called the bold bet.  The two showed their hands, and Anna was in possession of a hidden pair of 7's.  Erik had another 7 in his hand, making the odds of Anna getting a third 7 to win the hand approximately 1,000,000,005 to 1.

With Erik's luck clearly established, that third 7 did appear for Anna as the last card in the hand, ending Erik's game.

After the game, Anna was seen introducing herself to new people by saying, "Hi, I'm Anna and I won poker last week against Erik!"  She mentioned her victory over Erik at least 55 separate times in the following week.

Erik convened a press conference after the game where he told reporters that he was a much better player than Anna and couldn't believe his luck.  When reporters noted that he had no reason to go "all-in" with only a pair of jacks, Erik displayed both of his middle fingers and then ran from the podium.
