The Most Important Radio Show... Ever is Unleashed

-- SANTA BARBARA, California

Nearly five years since the cancellation of WLBN's Dr. Love in the Night, popular demand has forced Erik to return to low-frequency radio with a new effort, The Most Important Radio Show... Ever on KJUC in Santa Barbara.

"So many of my fans kept calling, asking when I'd get some great love songs back on the air," Erik explained to a surging throng of at least three fans massed outside the KJUC studios near Storke Tower.  "And I told them I just wasn't ready.  And neither was the world.  Until now."

With the continued oppression of people around the world, and considering the starving children in many places, Erik decided that now was the time to act.  "I had to do something," Erik said, "and now I have.  And I'll continue to make a difference for the children.  I just hope my podcast doesn't fill up the iPods of all the poor children so they don't have anything else to listen to besides me.  I mean, as important as my show is, you should listen to other things from time to time."

The Important Show includes soul music, Boyz II Men, and commentary about pressing issues in Santa Barbara and "other important stuff."  It airs Mondays at 1:30pm on KJUC, 880 AM in the UCSB Residence Halls.  Downloads of the show are also available from www.eriklove.com/podcast.
